Description

Back to the duck pond for some practice.. Anser cygnoides Domesticated from the Swan Goose in Central Siberia over 2,000 years ago, the Chinese Goose is the smallest of all domestic geese. It is sometimes referred to as the "Swan Goose" because of it's graceful manner. There are two varities of the Chinese Goose, White and Brown. The original variety is similiar to the Brown Chinese Goose. Because they eat grasses and weeds these birds are often bred and used for "weeding" purposes. They have also been considered good "watch-dogs", as they can be quite aggressive and vocal when threatened. Thanks for having a peek and all your kind comments on my previous posts! Aloha to All!

I can imagine this being one helluva better watch-dog than my Eija. Yesterday i accidently dropped my mouse ontop of her when she was lying below my feet...needless to say...shes still afraid of me...sigh...such a scared little one she is...but still ooooh sooo cute, LOL. Wonderful capture as always Dave. Very crisp and clear, pro-quality! Have a great day....again. #:O)
