Another Banana spider....the one I had was 5-6 inches long, mostly legs.

A wonderful find. Beautiful markings on the spider - and I love the zig zag pattern these spiders make in their webs. Excellent capture!

Body length about 3 cm, overall length 5-6 cm. Argiope aurantia - a black and yellow garden spider or 'writing spider' - they are not particularly dangerous especially if you do not handle them.
