Hi there :) !
BIO
My name is Sherry and I'm 32 years old.
I have been playing around with art all of my life and can remember trying to draw the birds in the yard at about 3 years old.
I majored in Photography in college and took all of the art classes I could as electives. I was one of those people that thought computers did everything for the digital artist..... boy have I woken up.
I went digital about 3 years ago and just started playing around with 3D last year.
All of my digital work is self taught, I mostly use Photoshop for all of my digital painting and slip in some 3D stuff now and then.
If I had to reccomend a specific tool for the begining digital artist it would be a graphics tablet. Three years into digital art and I just got one, Man what a difference, just not having to fight a mouse all the time was worth it to me.
I love talking to people about art and technique, so feel free to email me if you have seen my gallery and want to talk about how something was done.
I also love hearing all of your comments on my work and appreciate any tips anyone has.
Thank you for dropping by!

Oh wow Elusion you nailed it too, it's from a picture of my sister's Painted Conure named Pokie, I'm doing the Pokie Gryphon for her as a Christmas present ;) I wasn't sure anyone would recognize the bird since Painted Conures are fairly rare in the pet market.
