...kevin costner's always doing the post apocalyptic movies...so i figured i'd build him a post apocalyptic mustang...i threw up a few shots of it a cpl days ago...and taking that feed back into acount i've tightend up the tires and finished of the modelling...now onto rigging and texturing i guess... ...56973 poylgons counting the gerry can and 55 gallon drum [in case you cared...my computer seemed to] ...the metal grating is a simple a clip i painted...which seems to be working well... ...asPolycolor is a killer plug... ...does anyone have any advice on thumbnails i always have to compress it down till it looks like crap to get it within the 15kb limit =/ ..anyway...let me know what you think...more shots tomorrow...dig it...

Now that would be one fun jeep to drive. :) Awesome work! As for thumbnails, it seems to work fine for me as jpg 200x200 med. A good method for cramming more detail down into a tiny thumbnail is to start with the image at 2x what you need, and use unsharp mask and scale down.

Super cool modeling... this is an inspiration to concentrate my time in modeler. As for thumbnail, I use PS to crop something proportional to 200 px, load the file into Painter and convert to jpg -- the file comes in fairly good quality and under 15kb limit.

Excellent modelling. Crop your thumbnail to a "teaser" small area instead of trying to get the whole image reduced. Also, this particular one has a very limited color pallette... doesn't playing with that in compression help quite a bit?

Wow that is one fine bit of modelling! You have given this modified Mustang plenty of attitude! You are gonna have to show us the finished product soon bud, can't wait!
