the highway that is visible is Arizona #93 from Hoover Dam to Kingman,Ar. the upper part of the picture is the lower part of Grand Canyon where Lake Mead starts and the upper part above the Canyon is Nevada. the short road that leads off is the Temple Bar turnoff thanks for your visit and keep those comments coming because I love to read them

Do you know, before I read anything I thought this was a new style of fractal image!!! lol! Well, it's an amazing take of the area, and you have some incredible gradients of colours within it. (I think it would have been a really good fractal!) Thanks for sharing it and the information too.

I have been to the Canyon several times but have not tried the air tour. But looking at this makes me want to! Outstanding shot of this view from the plane Richard! WOW! :)

Really enjoyed the pic as well as the comments made. Looking at the thumb thought...with what weird fractal Richard is coming up now. Then looking at the crisp well shot landscape, couldn't believe it was taken from a regular airliner which usually have those annoying opaque windows. Excellent!!
