It really is a nice work and I should have commented yesterday but I only knew a 54 that the woman who painted senior portraits owned and a J2 from 1956 that made a whoosh from it's single exhaust when the lumberyard owner's son drove it. Paul Geyer let me in his cement block dealership once and let me have a brochure.

Thanks for the replies. Oldsmobiles from model year 54 to 56 shared the same basic design,cleverly updated from year to year. I chose the 55 because of its front end (much nicer than the 'catfish' front on the 54) and its smart two-tone treatment. One of the cleanest designs of that era. An Oldsmobile was a long overdue item on my gallery.
