Description

The Humanasol League was formed in the 3rd Era of Human star-faring technology. League members consisted of those Human communities that opposed the Commonwealth of Humanity as it increased interaction with other sentient species such as the T'lar. The Humanasol League Fleet was a major threat to Commonwealth starships and traveling habitats as well as those of sentient aliens throughout the late 3rd Era (1501-1639 FCE). The largest military action taken by the League was the siege of Interstellar Exploration Corps traveling star habitat "Depths of Dream" in 1592 FCE to halt the Human-T'lar Concordat Conference. Ironically, the League was joined in its attack by T'lar rogue forces who also wished to stop closer relations between Humanity and the T'lar. The Humanasol League deliberately used archaic ship classifications drawn from Earth's ancient naval tradition in order to disinguish Humanasol culture from that of the Commonwealth of Humanity. At its height, the Humanasol League Fleet fielded around 500 starships large enough to be called "capital ships" by the League. The corvette was not considered a capital ship by the Humanasol League Fleet. Normally carried by battleships and fleet carriers, it was used as an escort, scout vessel and troop transport. Most corvettes were outfitted with only low power tachyon transmitters and thus did not have the large communications arrays mounted to Humanasol capital ships. Corvettes could land on planetary surfaces. The corvette normally carried two fighters and two small shuttles in a small hangar bay. Humanasol smallcraft typically only had sublight drives. The Humanasol League Fleet made much greater use of fighters than the Interstellar Exploration Corps which preferred to field smaller numbers of larger gunboats instead.

This looks like something out of Homeworld, a PC science-fiction strategy video game circa 2000.

I very much like the similarity of the designs showing their common heritage and this is no easy thing to do..tho overall i find them a bit to "edgy" on the other hand spaceships do not need to follow the laws of aerodynamics, well done

Very cool. Nice to see some more human scaled vessels amongst your vast interstellar armadas.
