Hello there :))
We are back from vacations!!
We have been having a wonderful time hiking in the "Hautes Alpes" (France), around Vars (Queyras area).
Here is a view of our hikink on the Vars ridges, located at the altitude of 2600 m.

Bonsoir Chantal, ravie de te retrouver parmi nous ! Et avec une photo... grandiose, comme tout ce qui entoure l'endroit ou tu ais. C'est un coin que je connais un peu pour y avoir chez des amis qui ont retapune vieille bergerie dans un hameau pas tr loin du col de Vars... J'en ai des souvenirs superbes, les flambs 16h30 en plein mois de juillet parce que les nuits aient plus que fraiches, les veills au coin du feu ou les parties de tarot... et bien sur quelques verres de Genepi.... le bonheur quoi ! J'espe que vous y avez passun bon sour et que vous vous es bien oxygdans les montagnes. J'ai he de voir tes autres photos, je sens que tu vas nous faire rer !!!! Je t'embrasse tr fort Chantal, bonne soir.

Tiens, revoilChantal... et avec une superbe photo en plus ! C'est "pimbotinesque" ! Moi-aussi, je connais le Queyras : j'ai autrefois randonnpas mal au dart de StBonnet... une rion de re, un rin... J'ai he de voir ce que la "magicienne de la lumie" nous en a rapportcomme images.... Zibous :~)

Ce qui m'impressionne toujours avec la montagne c'est l'imensitdes espaces qui nous entourent et sur ta photo cet espace est tr bien rendu !!!

Oh welcome back Chantal! I'm very happy that you are still alive if I look at this 2600 m altitude mountain way! LOL What a fabulous and beautiful area here! I really love this beautiful colored photo with this beautiful contrast between the meadow with those lovely flowers and the background with all those so huge mountains! Excellent vacations memory! V

Oh wow, great you're back, Chantal! hugs Hope you've had a wonderful time in the Queyras! Visitied it once, a sweet memory indeed! Col de Vars had some nice rare flowers I won't forget but your picture shows a place on a fantastic altitude where a lot of interesting things demand attention, I guess! Fantastic work!

Toujours loje vibre le plus! J'ai pensvous hier, on est revenu de la Corse en passant par le Verdon... Splendide photo de montagne... Exactement la seule chose qui m'ait manqu pendant ces 2 semaines de res... Bizzz
