When working with one of my books about religion I bumped into 3D graphics through one of the illustrators. Began working with Poser and Bryce at the same time as I worked with a World History.
A couple of years ago I did my first job as an illustrator; illustrating an encyklopedia about monsters. Also worked with the swedish magazine "Spike", with similar content.
Now I´m working with a fantasy story together with the swedish author Niklas Krog. I´ve made up the basic story and produced a storyboard. Now Niklas has written the first chapter and we have sent a presentation of the project to a publisher.

Wonderful image! Did you make the trees in the tree lab? My only suggestion would be to add a few more ground cover plants - prickley thorn bushes and the like.

There will be things added to this environment in the future. I sketching on a whole row of places for a fantasy story. At this stage I sometimes try the environments and the figures separately. Later I will bring them together. The tree lab only makes straight trees. I hope they will give us the tools to bend and distort them in the future. This trees you can find at Daz; they are made by Lisa Buckalew I think. They were rather heavy for Bryce to handle so I did a group render in Poser with similar light, saved it in Photoshop as a pict and then applied it in Bryce on a 2d plane with transparency. So the three trees in the foreground are 3 D, the rest 2 D.

Wonderful dark look to this, reminds me a little of the old text based game "The Pawn" where although text based, we did now and then get a few beautifully drawn images - but all in green as PC's were green screen only in those days. This reminds me very much of the dank forest in Pawn, but that also had a lot of drippy weed all over everything.
