Looks like Arizona. We have a lot of red rock here. Beautiful terrain and the play of light and shadow is fantastic. :)

I agree with ppetersen but it looks a little overexposed. Terragen defaults to half a stop over (in camera settings)a lower gamma setting would help to. Good effort :)
