Description

A huge fan of the Games Workshop's artwork and used to draw things from there all the time. I havent done anything of theres in years, So when I found this great model online I had to try something just for fun. I wanted a real illustration look to it so decided on black & white. Posed in Poser, rendered in Lightwave, Then added rain, splashes, mist and rough black edges in Photoshop. Credits: JHoagland for the figure & gun rest by me.

I love the look of this image, it really fits in with the gritty dirty reality that is warhammer 40K. doing 40K images from time to time myself, I love to see others making them too. excellent image!

I like something different. You have a 'stand out' look to your work - something I wish I had. Distinctive.....I like it! More please 8 )

Really cool stuff mate. I like the monochrome look, it really gives it a more distressed look that fits the subject matter well and uses the light and shadow play to its advantage. Excellent stuff!!! If thats a Librarian I'd hate to return my books late LOL!
