One type of shot I have always admired. The mystery and playfulness of someone peeking from behind a tree. Cute little model and some fine captures.

If this is not your child, then you have for sure installed a trust relation... she looks very relax and seems to enjoy posing...= the recipe for a great portrait ! Excellent work ! :~)

The kid seems completely at ease, which shows in the picture very well ... it seems she actually has quite some fun. and you did capture that greatly ... the light tree is somehow distracting me from the face though ... the great texture and sharpness draws the eyes to it ... in the back the dof is great, but you should probably decrease it to a minimum to erase the sharpness in front ... well, that is only my humble opinion, not a professional at all

I really like the contrast of the rough tree and soft child - but her hair seems too wet or even dirty? Can't tell - - but I think it would look even softer if her hair was totally dry - or brushed a little more, lol. It's a cute pose tho!

The hair does not matter. It makes her look playful. More of a candid shot than posed.
