It shold be noted that houses like this one have secrete messages displayed. This is done in the way the timber is layed out, which represents runic letters. Excellent example of such nordic architecture. I look forward to the rest of this series. Have a great weekend.

This is beautiful - I love the colors and the weathering on this house! A nice background of blue sky and puffy clouds, too :)

Magnificent building and superb capture with deep rich colour saturation - this building is more than twice as old as my country :-) Exquisite!

Really a superb old house. Incredible to think she is 500 years old ! I love this architecture, with using the wood. Who can say what an old house like this one has seen and heard... if she could tell us ! A wonderful shot Ana, and like Egmond, I'm waiting for the others ! Hugs.

It's amazing that so many generations of owners have taken care of them so well. In a way, the carpenters who built them have a small slice of immortality. A wonderful photo!

I like your Photograph. Where can I find such nice houses? Nice orange walls and dark brown beams in the timber framing. Looking at the double windows the climat should be grim for most time of the year. So my guess is that the photo has been taken in a Scandinavian country: Denmark, Sweden, Finland?
