thanks for viewing practising my postwork skills - more has gone into this image than the postwork of the moon - i have been playing with adding gradients as an extra layer to smooth the whole image - what do you think?? thanks for the comments on my recent images - criticism helps me learn like it / hate it comment / rate it thanks

Great atmosphere and postworked clouds and moon are excellent. I've used gradients this way myself in the past and it can be a very useful trick, but I'm afraid I have to say in this case I think it has toned down that dramatic lighting too far.

I think you did a fine job in integrating the sky & terrain - lighting appears correct. I'm not a cheerleader for postwork, but this came out quite well!
