Description

APO2.02I>PSP text and opt. Today is like a flash forward of the fall...cloudy, moody, dark and cool. Know I will miss the summer, but things are picking up and moving towards the busy fall. I'm part of an art show locally here and have been working these last few days hanging my work...they look great framed. I make 12x18 inch prints on an Epson 2200 with archival inks and paper. So far, no one that has walked in has ever seen anything like it...as much as we all know and talk about fractals every day, your regular Walmart shopper has never seen anything like it. Working on my rap to the questions...like "What the hell is this?" ...I use my hands a lot to explain...just short of making shadow puppets across the prints, as they begin to stare at me blankly...heheheh. I'll see how all this goes... Thanks for taking a look! Chris

This is just wonderful! Such a nice flow 'n' blend of colors! Lovely details! I think you're right. The hardest part of selling these would be trying to explain to people exactly what fractals are. Darn! If I ever sell mine I'd have to study that part a LOT! lol q-: Fantastic work! V (:

Beautiful! I sympathise with your show experiences. I entered four UF fractals in the Annual Open of a local Arts Club. They were all selected by the judges but not without discussion. They were all accadamicians and worried about their "patch" maybe. Some of the public though liked hugely. I don't know? We live in different worlds. Wouldn't want to take bread away from anyone.
