Description

A couple of days late, but my 'Renderosity Anniversary' image. I thought of just doing a 'cover' of my first image posted here, then decided to do something completely different. The last year has had it's ups and downs, but I'm very grateful for the friends I have found here. If I've learned anything over the past 12 months, it is from a quote that I saw in Lissa's (OutsideTheBox) Bio some time ago : "Anything in any way beautiful derives its beauty from itself, and asks nothing beyond itself. Praise is no part of it, for nothing is made worse or better by praise." -Marcus Aurelius *** Top and hair painted and lots of shadow and light work in Photoshop. You did so well with this image. I love the lighting and the pose and you've got the strong shadows down so well! Oh, Happy anniversary! A little food for thought... Emerson said "To be great is to be misunderstood." Which... makes us geniuses! I haven't been here to follow your work through all of it, but I've seen most of it and experienced about 6 months of your work. I've learned so much from you and at the same time watched you grow as a digital artist. Your work inspires me time and time again and I couldn't do even half of what I've done without your support. Here's hoping things get a lot brighter for you really quickly. You deserve everything you desire. kk
