I think this is really great but hope you don't mind if I make a slight observation...the horizon needs to be straightened up just a little, it slopes off to the right...I'm always having to straighten my images! I tend to agree with you on the border but hey, otherwise I think it's superb.

its really beautiful imaginative love the prespective of the walk way on to the beach.. every thing is positioned well and seen with a good eye.. okay.. l agree on the boarder doesnt suit the image.kinda traps the image from breathing.. and a slight adjustment to the horizonal line.. real hard with sea scapes and they always show..hope you dont mind me saying.. those two small points would make this perfect.. :))) is truly beautiful

I would definitely do something more simple for the border, but I think the horizon is just fine as it is because the boardwalk is nearly perfectly straight. Nice photo! :)

I really like it ... wide-angle ... dof from 0-all-the-way ... and you catched a great sky ... magnificent ... absolute eye-catcher ... I could even imagine this one in b/w ... congrats to the good job, only the border is a bit pressing on the pic

Correcting the slanting horizon in Photoshop would have made this one the best start you could imagine! Beautiful work here!
