Yes, it's true. On the internet, I'm a rather dull, mild-mannered digital artist, but in real life, I am actually Superfrog.
"Faster than a speeding dragonfly, stronger than a flathead catfish. Able to leap ten hungry alligators in a single bound. Look! Out in the swamp! It's a bird. It's a boat. It's Superfrog!"

For me, ideas are like butterflies that are flittering around by the dozens. Just grab one and render it, then move on to the next.
BIO:
I began 3D art with Bryce 3 in April 1999. Before that I played with various 2D styles and techniques. Back in the mid-70's and 80's, I worked in metal sculpture and had a line of "frog prints" selling in stores all over Southern California and Arizona. I have been in art in some capacity since childhood. Since the computer came along, I 've pr3etty much lost touch with brushes, pens and pencils which I regret.

Creepy scene, lighting is well done.

Nicely done image. Very reminiscent of simpler times. Funny though I bet a lot of people have never seen that T.V. screen image before to know what it is.

I can remember sitting and waiting for the first program to start. There used to be one test pattern with an American Indian on it as well, I think. Appropriate TV set as well. :^)

Nice job, especially with the lighting. The old test pattern's good too, a good match for the old TV. (Those b&w test patters were waaaayyyy before my time though -- I just remember seeing the standard color ones sometimes on weekend mornings.)

very sharp and defined, i like the refleections on the floor, and not all that are young are unappreciative, i doubt any stations still use those old B&W screens but i've seen a few several years back, every time i would visit my grandpa and have to actually get up to change the channel and adjust the rabbit ears for 10 minutes before returning to my couch, i would usually see one late at night around 1 or 2 am when the station went off air, had to be 12-15 years ago now, and out in Youngstown, OH area, i still can see the color ones in my area in SE VA

I always confused the "test pattern" with the ever popular "get yer ass into the fall-out shelter" symbol that would also be tested on air. As a child...the proper reaction upon viewing the "get yer ass into the fall-out shelter symbol" was to bury your head in between your knees and presumeably kiss your a** goodbye!!! Thus...the reason why I always got kicked in the rear end every time the "test pattern" symbol would appear on the T.V. screen!

great lighting - love the blues in this scene!! Yeah - I still remember the times when tv stations didn't send through the whole night :-) But sometimes it would be more interesting to watch the test pattern than the actual program ;-)
