I'm British born and still living in my home town in the house that formerly belonged to my Great Grandmother and then my Grandmother - there's nothing like keeping it in the family is there!
I have been using Poser since version 5 and have been creating textures for clothing and, very occasionally, characters since the Autumn of 2005. Now I concentrate mainly on clothing because that is what excites and what I get the most satisfaction from.
Outside of Poser I work full time as a Service Manager fora Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Company in the North West of England and am responsible for a 5 man team. I am a complete cat-a-holic and have just adopted 2 stray kittens that are blending in well with the existing crop of mangy fleabags.

I know, my postwork skills aren't what they should be I'm afraid hence the slightly "odd" look to her shoulder.......that awful creasing that you get can be hard to remove but I love this pose so much I had to overlook the limitations of the base figure itself ;o) Nothing to do with the texture either.....it's all my fault.

Excellent job, Valerian!! :D :D The shoulder funk is something that can't really be helped, and I hear you on the postwork thing...I haven't the prowess :(

Postwork is my personal bane as well -- I do everything I can to avoid it at all costs. Excellent expression, wonderful pose and use of the hair -- very well composed overall and nicely structured.

The eyes are what get me. despairing is powerful there, and the circling hair adds to the feeling. Ok the shoulder is distracting, but that can be fixed. (not by me, but someone who knows how to apply lighting to a shoulder without destroying the great effect you have on the face) and it's a powerful image.
