The locals came and let the tiger out of the bag--er, cage, the monkeys cut a deal with the explorer after taking away his boots (and eating the spider for a snack), and the tribe elder swapped a bottle of homebrew for a new hat, though he was a little nervous at the continued presence of the tiger, who seems creepily tame. Perhaps it's the explorer's pet and was just crated for the night. Now the explorer is telling the elder a "no shit there i was" story about how he got the tiger. There, I think I covered all the bases;-)

Hmmmm, the spider is bigger and in a cage. Perhaps it ate the explorers shoes! The monkies look like they had too much to drink and are meandering home. The tiger looks like he is calling the Explorer a liar as he recounts his fabulous tale. And finally, the guest looks like he thinks all of them are crazy. I hope the next post is the REAL story!!

Okay change up. The hunter caught the tiger and knew he was a pet of the tribesman. Who were coming to get him when they saw the latern steeling monkies trying to make off with the laterns to find their way home. So the tribesman gave the monkeys the wagon, got the spider out of the boot and put it in a cage and let the tiger out who is really upset he was caged and is growling at the hunter who is telling the triblesman that he would not hurt the tiger. So he made a piece offering by giving the tribesman his hat. And the monkeys went home via the wagon. but not before drinking all the stuff in the jug and the hunter says to the tribesman I only have two fingers of booze left. :D there! :D Hugs steve lol I love these pics!!

Nah, very simple. The tiger is the dressed up older brother of the monkey sitting to the left (is there a left sitting monkey???) and comes back to ask for the right way. And spidey is sitting in a cage to avoid any trouble. Of course it is an inflatable cage that can be moved wherever spidey needs it. All VERY clear! And an excellent image again Sir S!

I've obviously missed something, so I'll just say this is a great image, love the monkeys in the cart - well done Steve!

Ouch; looks like he's got a really sore foot now, lol! No idea what's going on here...all the stories sound plausible to me...but great continuation of a strange series, Steve!

I think the story is very clear here - the spider (now caged but able to sting the 'great explorer's' foot)has already stunk the tiger, and the 'great explorer' is asking him (the tiger, not the spider)exactly how many fingers does he see because obviously the venom has begun to take effect (*see cloudy eyes on tiger). Meanwhile, the monkey, always able to think one step ahead of 'great explorer' is carting away boards to assemble a coffin, either for the tiger or 'great explorer' or, possibly, both. The Native of course, is simply waiting for his forthcoming meal! LOL!!! Fantastic scene Steve!!!

This is so H. Rider Haggard , I love it. That era of storytelling has so many possibilities. Look forward to more.

ok well, i recon the bloke with the hat is descibing the art of catching spiders back in Australia... whilst the tiger and spider are interested, the guy with the spear has just realized hes late for his date!! yep, and those monkeys are drunk..just playing a little "horse and cart"!

ROFL! I missed this one and I just adore it. I doubt, however, the tiger will trap the monkeys. They're just too clever for that. Love the composition, lighing, posing. A lot of work is going into this. Very well done!
