White-tailed Skimmer (Libellula lydia)
I have been chasing these beasties around the neighborhood for a few weeks. They are rather shy, and more apt to land on the ground, than to pose. When this one landed, I took a quick shot, then slowly crept closer, until I finally got the shot I was hoping for...
