After the appetizer called publicity caravan it's time for the 'main course': the athletes! The first thing you hear is the sound from the TV-helicopter. For the spectators this means something like 'red alert on all decks'. I can tell you that a helicopter makes a lot of noise, but when the cyclists really get close one can only hear the roar of the crowd. For the second time this day people are getting totally nuts!! For those who are not familiar with Tour de France: the overall leader is dressed in a yellow jersey (which explains the title of this little series).
