Women could now convey complex ideas, images, sensations and experiences without needing to find words for them. Soldiers could "see" exactly what their scouts could see. Scientists could pool their brainpower to crack problems far too big for any individual intellect. A spin-off product, but equally significant, was Information Injection, which implanted large masses of data directly into the brain, guaranteeing 100 per cent absorption and retrievability. These revolutionised the female war effort and had a huge impact on the nature of post-war society. Some say Eileen Addison actually won the war.
