If your traveling from the south toward the castle, theres a single track road that branches off to the right and it takes you up the hill behind the castle and rejoins the main road further on.
Theres great views over Loch Alsh to Skye with the castle below, that not too many people get to see.

Excellent shot, I was in the same spot (approx) sadly though the visibility was about 3 feet, pretty normal for November I guess, love the compo and clarity of this one.

I really enjoy seeing this from a completely different angle. Makes me think this castle was vunerable to attack from this side. Or perhaps I can't see what is after the trees. Nice atmosphere. If you have a winter shot of it I'd love to see it too.
