Description

...or ... bringing home the bacon. This little fella managed to get himself a spider and was dragging him,... walking backwards, mind you, up the siding of this house, all the way from ground level to the eaves of the roof! I still don't like spiders and snakes, to quote Jim Stafford, and freak when a bug gets in the house, but you have to admire their tenacity! Thanks for looking and thanks for your comments on my previous stuff. :)Maria

I've always admired "tarantula hawks" which I believe this wasp to be. Truly a stunning capture of Nature at work! Bravo!

How'd you get so close to them? I assume the spider is dead but that wasp can still sting! Great macro work, a fascinating scene!
