Description

On this very day, in 79 AD, Mt. Vesuvius erupted burying the city of Pompeii. This is the Forum of Pompeii as it would have looked in the year 61 AD. In February of 62 AD, an intense earthquake left the Forum and various parts of the city in ruin. Bryce & Poser - built from scratch except for the corinthian columns, poser figures, and chariot. This is not only one of the best bryce renders but one of the most accurate historical depictions of the ancient time i've ever seen. In my eyes, the amount of detail and realism is absolutly comparable with the artworks of the renaissance.

Wow, this must have taken ages to set up.. Really fantastic scene with so many details and things to see. Wonderful atmosphere, I feel like being back then looking down on this scenery. Excellent work my friend!

Perfect. And you and I stood exactly in that place, in Pompeii. Today, to the left is now the archeological repository, where one can view, through a fence, tons of artifacts and casts of incinerated and once buried people. That fantastic image must have taken you a few minutes to build and render :D.
