Description
I read Gregory Maguire's "Wicked" in June which is the inspiration for this portrait of his "Wicked Witch of the West", Elphaba.
This is my own vision of the charater, as I see her mixed ethnicity (half wood elf) to be almost delicate, though a little scary and of course green.
I highly reccommend Maguire's books and have got to say that reading the "backstory" of "The Wizard of Oz" as he's told it was really very fun.
