EWWWW!(((Shudder!)))I hate spiders and even more so when you accidentally walk into their sticky webs!UCK!!I hate the way that feels!Ooh and what a fleshy-looking one he is,Andreas!And you really caught every detail of his ugliness,didn't you?LOL!It's actually a fabulous macro.Not the most photogenic of subjects but that web is awesome.Those droplets look so beautiful.Really quite an achievement!Congrats my friend.Can we expect to see a moth any time soon?Lol. -M :)

This is INCREDIBLE, Andreas!!!! Damn fine macro work you've done here!!!! Those dew drops are soooooo beautiful, and thank goodness for them cause that spidey is one ugly lookin' dude!!! :) LOL! He kinda looks like he has the skin of a jelly fish! ya know...he's transluscent. and so ORANGE!!!! and MY what big PINCHERS he has!!!! look at those!!! Outstanding capture, Andreas, with fantastic DOF and compo! A++++++++

There are a lot of fine pics in your gallery, but this one is amongst your very best. We have those spiders around the house - i've been trying to capture them for weeks and failed miserably. Now, after looking at this masterpiece, i can finally give up my efforts .. i'll never reach this. The droplets are just gorgeous!

Fantastic shot, Andreas. I love especially the water drops on the web. In Germany this spider is called "Kreuzspinne". (Kreuz = croos or crucifix and Spinne = Spider) and it's poisonous. Wish you a beautiful day!
