Description

'Nocturne' ----------------- I really had a tough time deciding whether to post this here or in the Poser gallery because I spent about the same time in each program. I settled for here because it was rendered in Vue. ----------------------- The room was constructed in 3D Studio Max. Figures set up in Poser 6. Lighting and rendering in Vue 5 Inf. --------------------------- Thanks so much for taking the time to look, I really appreciate it. Tony BTW If you missed my last image 'Bad Blood' it was removed by Renderosity. However it can be viewed over at Poserpros and 3D Commune, those galleries didn't have a problem with it.

Excellent work. I looked at "Bad Blood" and I'm guessing it was the religious conatations that lead them to delete it. It's too bad that art has to be politically correct sometimes.

Ah, you probably should have posted it in the Poser gallery, you would get more comments, but you don't strike as the kind of person who really cares about that. This is a really cool pic and it's defintely something I would have done. I really like the lighting in this, especially the light from the stairwell. I'm also glad to hear that I'm not the only one who had an image pulled. They pulled one of mine the other day, that can be found at the Darker Realms website. I'm going to PoserPros to go see what I missed. Keep up the great work!

Sorry to hear your last image got removed. I remember seeing it and am not sure why it was removed. I went to look at Poser Pros but couldn't find it there either. I'd be interesting in knowing what the issue was, exactly?

Well done. It seems you are not one of the blessed ones here that can post anything and not have it removed. It is really funny how some people will have their art removed while others could put the same work up (or more ethically wrong) and be praised for it. Sorry you feel victim to the art Nazi.

Well, I'm glad you posted it here. It's not the kind of subject that I would do, but great artistic effort is still great, regardless of the subject matter. I'm glad Renderosity does police its site, but I do think they are rather overzealous and could manage someother ways to accomplish the same thing. Why not simply have an adult-type category for horror where only those above a certain age can access the material? Thought I'd had one pulled the other day, although it turned out to be just a temporary glitch that had nothing to do with censorship. Still, I remember how I felt like I'd been punched in the gut, so I have a great deal of empathy for you and Forevernyt.

nice image...but wheres the shadows for the figures ? i really think this would of looked better in poser5 (poser6 even better)...for indoor scene when using lighting...vue just doesnt cut it like poser does

i think this is excellent but have a preference for your similar works in B&W or with a limited range of colors like the stunning "bad blood" which i just viewed at Poserpros. i do not understand it's removal ,and no artist with the talent you possess should be censored.
