Greetings to all who have ventured boldly into this realm of imagination.... I believe that art and fantasy are deviations from the mundane, and everyday life. Reality is the more logical (rational) sphere of life, whereas imagination is a delicate stairway of light leading to... who knows; as such, it (imagination) knows no boundaries, and is everything that "reality" cannot be, and in many cases should not be...Well, what are you waiting for? Welcome to my
realm...BIOHello. My artistic name is "Sean Foote", and I consider myself a novice at the very thing that interests me; I am barely setting foot into the vast expanse called art. I do art as a hobby, and continually strive to better my abilities. My main artistic interests lie in 2D art that deals with fantasy, realism, mythology, and japanimation. I try to deviate from abstract art, but sometimes find myself incorporating it one way or the other. In the future, I am considering to try 3D art, especially with Poser and Maya software; for now I am concentrating on enhancing my sketching techniques through using a vast array of media.
Currently, I am a university student (in the US) pursuing a degree in biology; hence, my major is biology, while my minor is in studio arts; I very much enjoy the balance between scientific, and artistic(humanities...etc) disciplines. I am planning on going on to medical school in the near future; although the path is rigorous.
I consider myself open-minded and receptive to all opinions....so please, do not hesitate to disperse such opinions as they deal with my artwork.

Hi Sean...Great job!!! Your "human" looks great but your "Demon" appears to only have one ear and the one he does have appears to be twisted forward at the bottom; thus 'running into' his left eye. Skin tones and creases are very good!!!

Excellent detail in this one. The use of the colored pencil gives it depth, which will happen when using more than just the 'grey' of graphite or the black' of pen. Excellent use of it Sean... And have to say if the ear were more flat to the head it would be perfect. Perhaps a tiny bit more detail in the other gentlemans hair... Excellent 'diabolical' expression on the hairless one... Love it...

Since it is fantasy.. he could have his ear on his forehead.. or anywhere.. I cant draw a straight line.. so I give you one guess of what I think of this .. wow... ..i wish I could do that..

Hehe, that's one twisted looking demon. Awesome! I sure hope you didn't draw this amongst other people - I know I'd be freaked out ;). Excellent as always, and I can't wait for your next Alice

This is one of your best pieces! The shading is so precise and perfect and the expression on the young man's face is so multi-dimensional. Yet the creature in the background is what intrigues me the most. It's eye is like that of a cat...playful and yet threatening to be troublesome! I wonder what the relationship is between this devil-kin and this gentleman... Excellent work!
