Description

I do not know what awaits me here, Nor how soon tomorrow will come forth, Only that there are many doors That it seems I have no keys to. I'm blinded by uncertainty, I do not know when I shall return, Nor what will await me when I do. But I shall see through this blindness, For the opportunity is here, Within my very grasp, And it's too late to turn back now. Yet I take one final glance At this world and all that is familiar, And say my silent goodbyes. I will walk through this door of uncertainty, In hopes of a swift return. -Summer, age 16 ~*~ *smiles* I was given some some inspiration for this poem, though it was ultimately written in a rather tiny upload window. *laughs* The image isn't my best, but it'll work for now. *snickers* I've only one message to add along with this image, as well: No worries. -*- Thanks for viewing, comments welcome as always.

I really like her "pondering" expression - I'd like to have seen the image a little bigger (some of us oldies have failing eyesight!). PS: "no worries" is a great way to live!

Wonderful image! Lighting is superb. Such a contrast between the character and the rough wall. And at age 16, you've shown so wonderful poetry skill. EXCELLENT!
