I wish to thank RR, Ruth, Linda, and Fabio for their very generous commentary for the first version of this work. I think, however, that this version is more sharply rendered: the definition is clearer and the resolution is higher. Thanks to all who view and comment: I DO pay attention! UF and PhotoShop...

Okay, call me crazy, but besides the fact that I've only ever seen white ivory, I think the inner details look like corn on the cob. Lovely colors, and I love corn! lol q-: Fantastic piece! V (:

I'm not quite sure what to make of this. It has aspects about it that suggest something antique, and yet there is a vegetable look about it too - as Carol suggested, there is certainly a suggestion of corn on the cob there. Most interesting spiral!
