Description

Here the mighty warrior, now food supplier, has to take careful aim. Otherwise he will have to chase a dying deer all over the forest. The hardest part of this pic was trying to get a good skin tone for the indian. I'm not very happy with the way he looks, but after an hour of playing around with different settings I had to settle for this. The bkgrd I picked had a dam in the back so I covered it with a pic from a different river. That I was happy with. Thanks again for all the great comments and critiques. I enjoy hearing both. ENJOY TODAY

The two rivers being merged....look amazing!!! Excellent work on those..and also on that deer and indian. The only element in this composition that sort of looks pasted...is that tree. I dont know if its cause its so high-contrasted compared to the rest of the image or what it is. And frankly...i dont even know why im saying this, for theres no way in hell i could even come close to putting something like this together, LOL. spselfr said it....i too bow for the king of PS. Have a wonderful weekend. #:O)

That tree looks pasted - in a way, now that Zacko mentions it - because it's quite a bit in the front. (I myself would never have noticed this.) Like him, I take off my hat for you, Master of Photoshop Collage. Care to teach us poor laymen a few classes on cutting and pasting?

I think you do an excellent job merging these images together, I can imagine this scene being played out a long time ago. You did very well with the skin tones on the indian. :)

Oooooo another fantastic piece of work ... Even though you aren't very happy with it, I love it enough for the both of us. If I had to say one critique .. I'd have to say the texture or surface (whatever) of the Indian ... taking some of the shine out would make it better? But then heck, what do I know.... :)

The merger of the two backgrounds is perfect! I also love the way the Deer looks in the image! Perfect! The hunter seems a tad too large? But that may be me! ;) Awesome composition! Especially the way you worked him in, with such a radical angle! Excellent!!
