Wow this is really excellent and very creative.

I have been thinking a lot of what I should write as a comment to this picture, Eric. My english is absulutely not good enough to tell what I want to right now. First of all, I will tell you that I think it is wonderful artistery, and that you have done an excellent job to blend this figures together. What I don't like that much is the title of the image.."Schizophrenia"..and your words under the image. A person who has Schizophrenia do NOT have various personalities. People who have Multiple Personality disorders have that. Unfortunately there is a lot of myths about the Schizophrenia disease, one of them is that people think they have various personalities. I can see from the comments here, that this myth lives. It is a tragical disease, both for those who have the diagnoses, and for all the people who are their friends and family. In a way you comment under your work dissapointed me a bit. You wrote "Don't worry, my mind is well (lol)" I am really glad that it is, Eric, but there is a lot of peoples mind that is not, and for all those, a comment like this can hurt a lot, ecpecially with the "lol" behind. I always wonder when I see things like this,- would people have written lol or something like that if it was cancer who was the theme? I don't think so, and I really don't hope so either. Sorry for this comment, but I just had to write it down, and again, I really like your work artisticly!

well first Hedda, don't be sorry for the delay in your comments it's not a competition and a comment post many time after is also and always a beautiful support. For Schizophrenia, it's a complex old disease, with many different opinion in the circle of old and contemporary medicine (of Freud with Reing). To have multiple personality is a part of this disease like "somebody who invents another personality to escape from his problems". But it's one of the diseases most complex, even for medicine...... For my "lol" (it's not easy for a french people to express his feelings in English), if I hurt somebody, I am sorry 'cause it's not my intention. I just wanna say it is not because I post this kind of image which I am not well. I know what to suffer want to say and I have too much respect for the life to make fun of the people who suffer. Remember an ancient post called "Hope of the heart" for my brother in a wheel chair... Don't worry, if I post an image about "cancer", there will not "lol".... I appreciate your comment, in friendship we must be able all to say to us, even the things which do not give pleasure then Thanks my sweet Hedda (Big Hugs Eric )

Hey Eric, I can understand how difficult it can be to express feelings and thoughts in a language that is not your first or primary one... I have often had difficulty myself speaking in different languages. I am sure because of your wonderful heart that you meant no harm to anyone... Your image is incredible and a very unique and powerful work of art! It was nice of you to reply to Hedda and I love her for her big heart and her honesty!
