Description

I have just taken my bicycle lamp off to fill it up with oil and I thought you might like to see it. I told you I was old.

Ian, Ian, Ian, Ian, (shaking his head), what can I say? Your not that old! Come on. Look at the wonderful work you have been producing, the maturity that is coupled with a youthful mind is a treasure to behold. Sure physically were getting older you and I, but our minds are razor sharp. Anyway, dare I say it, but I think your turning out to be a better photographer than me. Sheee. I really did not say that, did I? (Looking around to see if any one else heard it.) The object is not only beautiful and rich in texture, but the may you have made it come to life with the light is more than perfect.

What a lovely lamp. Looks like it could use a good polishing too! Remeber, age is state of mind. From the state of your mind, I'd say...well, never mind. ;] Belated happy Birthday!

I don't know if you are kidding with us, or if you really use that old light, but it doesn't make any difference. Your photograph is a marvelous historical record. You have also presented your photograph very attractively and with classic simplicity. Beautiful photograph Ian.
