Hello Everyone! I dedicate my butterfly picture to all of my friends here in Renderosity who I've missed so much!! Still working on my computer but I'm getting there.
Today, I took a trip up to Long Lake, NY, and took a whole bunch of new pics and I'll start uploading them soon. :-) But my favorites were of this big old Monarch who just didn't want to go away. I'm going to post a few of them and they are dedicated to all of you. I hope you like it and that you're having a great weekend. I promise to catch up on my comments asap! I can't wait to see what you've all done.

Ok, what's the trick? I can never get a b-fly to stick around long enough for one good shot whether alone a bunch. One of the best b-fly pics around =)

Gorgeous is right! i love monarchs! (when i was a kid...centuries ago!...my dog and i would go to a grove of woods during the yearly migration and sit and watch them. they'd land on us by the hundreds literally. it was always such a cool experience and one i'll remember forever.) thank you for reminding me of those times dear one!! V
