Description

Mission - San Xavier Del Bac This is a 'ground level' image of the same dome as #2 in the series, different angle too - since I wasn't using a tele the heat waves coming off the dome giving it a 'fuzzy' appearence arn't apparent - this section has the repairs completed with that fine 'cactus juice paint :-) - Tommorrow we'll go inside. Another artistic scribbling - Your comments and suggestion are very highly valued and quite deeply appreciated.

This whole series is so astonishingly lovely and fascinating to boot. Wonderful angle and POV here...and I really love how those scrolling little pillars etch the sky...wow this is some incredible architecture; and it is lucky enough to have your unfailing eye capture every inch of it's splendor. Glorious. VOTE

The dome and sky are brilliant. I wish the focus was more in that area, thereby photographing the scene vertical, since the intrusion of the plants on the left go beyond the building horizontal roof line and the angle appears off a bit. The over all exposure and balance between extreme highlight (where you have also maintained detail) and that of the rest of the scene are all excellently balanced. Of course these are just my thoughts and creative differences.

I don't know if they do weddings there, but it's so pure and pristine and good that I imagine it wouldn't hurt to celebrate a wedding there. Just a beautiful place.

It looks wonderful and still it remind me at something oriental!! I have no idea how so many influences from the orient could come to Mexico or the South of the states. I know only the food has a lot of similarities to asian Indian food!! Specially the bread!! Excellent work and I love this wonderful shimmering white and the architecture!!! Excellent captured, Paul and thank you for sharing!!
