Description

Originally, this was just for fun. But, with the exodus of a lot of friends and family 200 miles away, I changed the title. I hope the people that see this image will say a prayer, light a candle or whatever they do to ask for the people in the path of this terrible storm to weather it safely. It will effect millions. Pray for them.

Excellent lighting effect. Nyalins might be in a lot of trouble. They are probably the worst positioned place on the third coast for a storm of this nature.

I too, lie in the path, but far enough away that the effects of the storm will have subsided some. My father just evac-ed. My brothers stayed down there.

I agree. I am from Mississippi and still have alot of friends there that I worry about. My family has moved North with me, so I know they are ok... I am so saddened by each and every one of the storms. Not only for the people, but for the beautiful cities and nature that is destroyed. Excellent image and dedication to all in harms way.

I just wanted you to know that many of the evacuees from New Orleans will see your wonderful picture you dedicated to them on Sat. 9/10/05 I am a nurse who is currently working with 150 survivors at a facility in Alton, Illinois. I am going to put several of the moving pictures I find here up on a wall there for all to see. I was there with the doctors I work with on Thurs and they are all lovely people, grateful for all of our care. They will appreciate your lovely picture.
