Description
I had initially snitched one of prog's thumbnails for this image, though I hope he won't mind too much. I feel it was for a very good reason because it's symbolic, not just of the recent attack on prog, but on every artist who's been subjected to such B.S.
To all you wonderful artists who have left our community, I say to you:
Without the sharing of your work, we're left with only darkness
We endure a painful void where once you enriched our lives
The vibrant colours we've seen in your images die to a 'nothingness'
So shall you leave, so shall we cease to grow
To prog, I say:
Do your resting up son, so your renderings can go full throttle when you get back. And fine, we'll also talk about raising your allowance. Kids, honestly! ;)
To those who troll, I say:

I agree about prog being a masterful artist and we should all pray to what ever god you pray to that prog's spirit will return with a vengence. I will pray to my gods as I am an American Indian as least half. TO PROG IF YOU SEE THIS REMEMBER THIS TO BE HURT IS A MEASURE OF THE SPIRIT TRIALS AND TO ENDURE IS TO NOT LET THEM WIN. Being a half breed I know how evil people can be. I have lived with the hatred all my life and so has my son. We win by not letting them win.

I think most of Rosity is in agreement with this and certainly the poser section. I mean for heavens sake what is the world coming to. I wish some of these silly jealous people would put their energies into something worthwhile like the jobless, the dying and the starving and war and religion and stop all that instead of picking on Rositys most fave man, friend and artist. This was a great idea and a great protest but i fear by the fact that this has been voted into the hot 20 just confirms what the original thread was about and that the hot 20 is a popularity contest. If the rest get in it will make a complete mockery of the system. Also looking at some of the comments it apears that it is fine for people to slag off other artists as long as they arnt 'popular' in the so called deffence of prog. Dudley used the word 'Embarrasing' which is probably the best comment of all!!

Prog has a way with his work that merits a top20 on each post!Lets face it,his style and techniques are adored by so many and thats what applies his work to the top20 list.A fan base is built on admiration of skill in ones art,also some friends watch his work yes but if I saw a render of Progs which wasnt worthy in my eyes of a vote I wouldnt vote.But to be honest almost everything in his gallery deserves my vote due to the techniques,results he uses and achieves.I stand by prog and if my views of art have any merit then atleast my voice has been heard!Well done for this Neomea,hugs cal(COME BACK PROG)

I think what started it all around prog is that people feel that many simply vote on a friday night red head regardless of the image itself. sure his art is fantastic, it was a poke at those who do not consider what they are voting for, and simply vote for it because of what it is (a regular series) and who its from, not a poke at Prog himself. Although its understandable why it got to him

If people don't wanna be slagged off for being in the hot twenty, they dont have to be. Just click off the "vote" box when you submit an image. it's not difficult.....
