Thanks for the comments guys, Uluru is a sacred place for the native australians. It features in many of their dreamtime stories. It's name stands for 'meeting place'. This photo was taken at sunset. The transformation of colours on the rock at this time is simply amazing. It goes from yellow, to orange to a deep red and finally rests in the shadows.
