Okay, just a few crits, as I have mentioned to others about this model: you have rendered everything on the model. The original modeler created 2 sets of sails, furled and unfurled, to render the ship in different sail configurations for different weather conditions. They were not meant to be render at the same time. Also, the original modeler, created 3 sets of flags per mast, again, to show 3 different configurations, for different weather conditions, not to be rendered at the same time. Also, realistically, the gunports of a ship of this size would only have been open at sea for 2 reasons, gunnery practice, or going into battle. The risk of water shipping through the lower ports in any significant weather and flooding the ship was too great a risk. The only time the would all be open was in battle or for 'tweendecks ventilation while in port. As I have suggested to others that render this model, or do a nautical scene, check out this site, for reference: www.scrimshawgallery.com/Online Gallery/Paintings and Prints. Look through the galleries of Geoff Hunt, Geoffery Huband, Charles Vickery, John Stobart, etc. These are artists who pride themselves in researching and accurately portraying maritime scenes as realistically as possible. Also, try Googling images of the real Tall Ships that still sail today. There are great photos of many of them under sail. Anyway, I am not trying to be supercritical, just trying to help you render a better image of a real object accurately.....

I enjoyed the scene and was slightly overwhelmed by the amount of sails... I never saw a ship with full sails in a picture before. I was also curious as to shy have two different flags showing on the ship? Is this a common thing of the era? otherwise nice job and keep up the great work
