Yes, it's true. On the internet, I'm a rather dull, mild-mannered digital artist, but in real life, I am actually Superfrog.
"Faster than a speeding dragonfly, stronger than a flathead catfish. Able to leap ten hungry alligators in a single bound. Look! Out in the swamp! It's a bird. It's a boat. It's Superfrog!"

For me, ideas are like butterflies that are flittering around by the dozens. Just grab one and render it, then move on to the next.
BIO:
I began 3D art with Bryce 3 in April 1999. Before that I played with various 2D styles and techniques. Back in the mid-70's and 80's, I worked in metal sculpture and had a line of "frog prints" selling in stores all over Southern California and Arizona. I have been in art in some capacity since childhood. Since the computer came along, I 've pr3etty much lost touch with brushes, pens and pencils which I regret.

So beautiful and right after the hurricane.

Indeed...I just read that more than 38million people in the US live in real poverty. Then you see this disaster and most people that couldn't get away were, once again, the poorer (in possisions, not in human quality!). If the same effort is made to do something about this as there is to wage wars far away, then there is real progress. I feel a deep, deep sadness when I see what has happened. I feel cold shivers running down my spine when I read that some people are tending to give up New Orleans. I feel shocked when I read about the looters... Well, thanks for posting this image. We are all a little bit drowned now.

Well, I'm from NW Georgia and I can tell you... What we got here was more than enough. My heart and prayers go out to those victims of such a tremendous storm. Sadly, your render doesn't show as much devestation as what those folks will be having to pick up for weeks to come.

I have to agree with kylco that the buildings should show more damage, but very fine render none-the-less. The devastation to the lives of the folks down there is beyond belief. Bless them all, and bless you, frogdot; you have a good heart.

Great job on the tattering, it's perfect. The real thing is so sad and awful - better a 'simulant' for me.

Well rendered.

Looks like a pretty good stripped-down render. I've seen all the sad news about this on TV, plus my dad's g.f. has a brother in Gulfport, MS, who may or may not have a home to go back to. Wish I had more to add...

Truly a mind altering event Dave, I am still stunned by the mayhem that is so very much out of control.
