hi, that's a lovely flame. don't know about your memory question, shouldn't make any differnce to quality just rendering times. you could ask on the apo mailing list for more info.

I think your ram would only affect the speed in which your flames would render. For posting here I use flam3 800 density, .02 filter... and a 2 oversample. with 512 ram it takes between 8 and 30 minutes depending on the complexity of the flame. Beautiful flame!

Yup just faster flame rendering. Dont forget the more u zoom , the slower the render.... i got 2gigs ram now and a super fast cpu and the apos are flying out my pc ... Great woven design BTW :)

Cool flame !! about your question I think personal that with the right fine tuning you have more enough on that 256 kb intern memory Its not the big render and scaling it back what most make the sharpnis, but the basic most have it all ready inside and i know that ,s possible I have many times simple copy and paste it straight from out Apo in PSP of Photoshop for making the end result so as border and sign
