Description
I'm not a religious person I just thought that this title would fit.
I took this shot with my old HP1.3MP cam at a work function. We had a potjie at our local Shongweni Dam and this shot came out so fantastically with the sun rays I was browsing thru and thought I had to post the pic here.
What is a Potjie? Imagine a stew that you cook in a pot that looks like a witches cauldron over the fire for 5-6 hours. Have it with rice or bread and it's damn good.
Postwork: colour balance and brightness/contrast...
Thanx for viewing and comments always welcome.
P.S. than you to all that viewed and commented on my previous pic, you're all so generous.

Nice photo PeeWee. Must have taken a while to get that just right.. Shongweni! Love that place. Walked through the tunnel in the water! Was great. Poitjie - my fav food. Meat so tender it crumbles in your mouth and the explosion of flavours from all the spices and extras. Yummy

Oooh, i like what you did here PeeWee!!! Looks really cool!!! I would however had chosen a different color for your frame. Preferably white or black. Just my humble opinion of course. Great job nevertheless!!! Have a wonderful day #:O)

What a wonderful shot and title! Agree with Andreas about the framing... IMHO I would take the brown tone from the image or a simple white frame. Anyway a beautiful image... brava, gal!

Potjie, hmmm, sounds African or old Dutch! :) Beautiful capture!

Ops...Thanks for commenting, because this ebot went missing. Both sunlight and expressions do this justice.I don't mind the frame as is. Gives contrast.

Potjie is Afrikaans which is derived from dutch and german :D

A wonderful capture, sun rays can be so elusive at times, captured very nicely!

I would be interested to know how the rays ended up like this... do you remember what you did. An interesting image, though you probably have a few more skills these days to really get more out of this - shadow/highlight, curves, and exposure perhaps...?

Fantastic portrait of two young friends!! Love the "God rays". Ditto on religion. Spiritual, not religous!
