Description

jazz piano a shot taken at a wonderful afternoon with my dear Nina at the regensburg jazzweekend 2005 a really cool band - some "punk-post-hard-bob" *g* anyway... cool cool cool! location: regensburg, germany framing: quite un-experimental... :) --- next posting: stubby graveyard mutants - get a haircut previous posting: backlight oh - well... ranking is open - but: i'd like to get honest ones... so a honest "NICE" with a useful comment is more worth than an excellent what is not meant this way... ;)
thanks for stopping by and watching :) and of course - critics, thoughts, whatever are welcome - the more useful the better... ;) so don't hesitate to point out things which could be done better... thank you! -christian picture taken with canon 50e, sigma APO 75-300mm, ilford hp5 plus (print film) postwork/framing in Xara X1/PSP9

I lke the diagonal composition but the dynamism of the compo combined with the dreamy look of the muscian seems somehow out of place to me. Excellent photography all the same.

You caught the mood well of a musician at work - a jazz-blusie piece I suspect :-) Well done!

Zacko said it already... perfect angle! At first sight I thought the light is a bit harsh and the contrast too strong but the longer I look the more I like it that way LOL Guess both of you have enjoyed the music! huge hugz

This is stunning Christian. The stark simplicity stands out. Your presentation is exceptional from the angle of the photo to the simpy arrangement of line and text set on black and proportions perfectly. The photo itself is wonderful highlighting the sights and sounds of jazz. V

This is beautiful, excellent impression of the event !! The area around the ear is a bit 'burned out' but that fits the style youve chosen here, high contrast... its not disturbing at all :o)

The black and white does seem appropriate for a man playing on the black and whites.
