As an evolutionist I think I know what your trying to convey here.. it is something I dont see very often,, I was bought up in a family of atheist.. and spend a lot of my life looking for spiritual guidance.. I use to laugh at some people explanation about god the universe and everything.. But as I got older I realize the importance of it in people ,s life.. And I no longer laugh at Christianity or wish for anyone to be without their comfort.. it is hard world out there we all need as much support as we can get.. So I wont be with you on this one..

Spritney, I don't know what it is you hope for. Your gallery is filled with anger and despair -- it's like you purposely mock things to try to get a rise out of people, or to get attention. Well, you have attention, but all it really evokes is pity, and I don't think that's what you want. You're certainly not persuading anyone to change beliefs with this. It's obvious that you do have artistic talent, hidden under your angst: Have you ever thought of trying to use that talent for something other than hate? I'll bet you could produce some amazing things if you'd just try to look for the good instead of trying so hard to tear down everything around you.

I always find it interesting how many people who claim to not believe in God, still choose Christ as the source and focus of their anger. If there is no god...why pick one in particular out to mock?...

I have to say I support your concept. I too believe that Christianity has long outlived it's usefullness. And that holds true with most major religions. But your use of Satan and Christianity in the same image perpetuates two untruths. Images like this and the comments they recieve tend to show the lack of deep knowledge on the subject from both sides. Know ye what you speak of, and why. There is a truthful alternitive to both sides of the argument, but it requires a critical and reasoning mind.

The promise of Satan is the everlasting torture in the flames of hell. The promise of Christ is the continued life after death and the chance to reunite with those that have been taken from us. .:What then is the hurt in believing in Christianity? If you had a loved one murdered, raped, savagely cut like meat in front of your eyes while their blood splatters stain your face, would you still put your faith in Satan? @ Oils on Display. i would say no. but i would say no to christianit too. if that happened to someone i knew i would most definatley question god, if he's even real and he's all powerful and forgiving and all that crap everyone says, then why would he let that happen to anyone? why would he let things like, 9/11, the tsunami and the bomings in lodon happen? why would he let my aunty, who was a devout christian right up until the end, die of breast cancer at the age of 37. doesn't seem right to me.

If you will, bear with me, and hear what I have to say, as I have heard what you have had to say. In your post on 9/3/05 you made a lot of points. But everything you read there was read out of context. Only when you read the whole thing, especially the truth in the New Testiment, can you see what all this meant. For one, being punished and going to hell are two wholly different things. Second, if you would look at the more recent books located in the NT you would see that the sacrifice of Christ lets you be forgiven. One last thing I want to say, and this is just an honest question I ask you, without mockery or hatred. What has Satan done for you? What pain has he relieved? From what I can see, you are full of angst and anger, total hatred. Tell me, do you know what Satan's name means when literally translated? It means "Deciever". Hmmmm...you're supposed savior's name, the one you refer to him as, means he's a liar. Jesus's name, which in Hebrew is Yeshua, means "He who saves", and the word Christ is a translation of the word Messiah, which is the savior of mankind, forgiver of sin and the one who rescues the fallen from hell. Jesus loves you. It doesn't matter if you believe in Him, He believes in you. And He's trying to speak to you, tell you He knows you and He loves you as you are. He died for your sake. He wants to heal your pains and be with you, as a friend. Satan, I know your fate. You won't drag us all down with you. Quit decieving this one, and let Christ speak to him. I command you, in the name of Yeshua the Messiah, to stand aside and let the Spirit work in this child. Just to let you know, I don't hate you or even judge you. Oh, I love the ensued mayhem where believers defend their dispositions emotionally, proving their own incongruency! Trust me, they do hate you and they believe they are better than you and others. If god came down to act as a lie detector between both parties, where would we see liars? It's not the words, it's the disclosure behind the words. Anyway, everyone needs their personal beliefs to place themselves in relevance to the world around them. This role bearing hyperdrama is conflict on hyperthin paper to cut fingers and give blood to the average and mundane. My advice to you is to be careful that you do not become what you really hate.
