Description

When auto enthusiasts mention the year 1957, usually two car models come to mind....The 1957 Ford Thunderbird or more often, the 1957 Chevrolet...Especially the two door hardtop Chevy Bel Air..which I photographed at a recent car show... Using Jasc PSP some unwanted background was removed (people and car clutter)and merged with a combination of two sky layers... Cheers Ken Morris Jr...

Oh! When i was a kid my brother used to build model cars...and Chevy 57 was his dream car...so naturally , most of the cars he build looked like this one. Amazing capture, thanks for the trip down memory-lane. #:O)

Oh! Gawd!!! I hate that colour...Vauxhall over here used to do their cars in it when I was around 5 or 6 years old...they always reminded me of false legs!!!!! LOL!!!! Good photography though!

I need to update my view of the new car owner from 1951 Ford Victoria and "how much I'm gettin' now that I'm married" as he appears among the dismantled at the car club garage to the 1960 Chevrolet, no girl and shifting troubles. along the way when the new overheads were going off the road and hitting the trees in 1955 accelerating in 1956 and just wheels spinnning in the air in 1958 the 1957 showed it's face but I almost missed it. This one seems to have taken refuge in the dealer installed parts counter where black rubber Dagmars, fender shirts and auxilliary bumperettes flourished for the affected. The headlight fog shields maybe held off the loss of France in NATO. Nice view on stubble in the mirror. The blueness is gone but the shadow remains.
