Description

I haven't fractaled in over a month. Those of you who have seen my gallery here will have noticed that I have been very absorbed in photography lately. But yesterday I felt a need to create a fractal to try to find some beauty in a week filled with images that have no beauty in them, only despair. I couldn't even come up with a name for this one. My heart breaks for the folks on the Gulf coast in this tragedy. Sorry I haven't been to the fractal gallery for a good while. I post more photos these days, but will try to stop by some. Thanks for stopping to have a look. ...Maria

Beauty and hope in the midst of despair. An incredibly dynamic and gorgeous image, Maria, and excellent in every way. I understand your need "to try and find some beauty.." The scope of this horrendous tragedy is almost incomprehensible.

This is absolutely stunning. I am totally amazed by your fractal images. When I go exploring I never find things like this. I should truly love to see the parameter set to learn from you. My sensibilites would never produce this magnificent composition, but I would love to understand your technique. By the way, I've been enjoying your photos, especially the macro photography.
