Thanks everyone for your comments on this and my previously posted fractals. About names: long ago I ran out of cool sounding names and I never really liked the practice of naming fractals after the things that they "look like". So I use the name of the original formulas found in the public domain - like this one: Horoscope - which I wasn't that thrilled about either but it is easier to keep track of in UF. As for Apo, I use whatever pops into my head, which isn't much after 7 years of fractalling, or I pick names off maps. That's my usual naming process for pix these days - I have been using maps of Hawaii and Bali. So the names are pretty random and not necessarily beautiful or suitable to the fractal itself. In any case, I tend to view them as abstracts which are intrinsically hard to name. Thanks for the feedback. LZ

Lovely composition. I give pictures whatever name pops into my head when I click Save. Fractals are like piano sonatas - descriptive names aren't necessarily appropriate.
