Description

I had so many titles for this picture...hehe I ended up stealing *On Golden Pond* ...but it might have been... *Let's Make Waves* or .....*Last one Home is a rotten egg!* I hope you like it whatever it's called. :-) Photo taken on Long Lake in upstate New York last weekend with my Pentax Optio MX4. Thank you all so very much for your comments on my last photos. :-))) I just love reading about what memories my pictures bring to you. The August in NY picture was also taken in the little town of Long Lake....not too far from where I live. The little white spots were not feathers Doug, but white water lilies. :-) We have been so fortunate this summer to just have gorgeous weather. I'll not forget my summer of 2005, especially this winter when I'm buried in 5 feet of snow... lol Mainly, though, because it was the summer I truly discovered the joy of photography and all of you nice people here in RR! And I didn't mean antique on that custard stand pic...uhm... I meant Authentic!! Awesome photo maggie!! Love the ducks. We get a lot of geese around here and down on the swamplands in town there are always ducks like this. We've even had some on our lake but they only stop in passing. Beautiful pic! Love it.. Hugs..

I think a horizontal crop would have been better on this to emphasize on the ducks and those marvellous golden tones of the water! Just a thought though! ;) Still a beautiful capture Maggie! :)

Corner Corner Corner! In Montreal, we live close of a park with this lake, I go tous.les.jours with my two labradors, us them infants, This photograph is superb! One day we will have goes, who will carry me to the garden of the dreams!(())
